2010 Porsche Sports Car Panamera Rivage GT 970 by Hofele Design

Hofele-Design, has released its latest tuning kit for the 2010 Porsche Panamera Rivage GT 970. The Porsche Panamera Rivage has designed German Tuner Hofele-Design with this body kit Hofele-design carries over the astonishing design lines by the Porsche designers and sharpens them even a bit more. The new tuning package dubbed Rivage GT 970 modifies the exterior as well the interiors of the Porsche’s sports saloon.
Behind the wheels lies a six-piston red caliper brake set with cross-drilled and vented 370 x 35mm discs. Potentially, the company can outfit the sports car with a four-piston, 342 x 34mm set of brakes instead, and they acknowledge that other disc diameters may also be possible.
The exhaust system meanwhile has been replaced with serial exhaust system coupled with Hofele 4-tube stainless steel sports muffler. The  sports car stands on 22-inch K-Series wheels measuring at 10J x 22-inch.
Engineers also fit an electronic lowering system, which brings the car down as much as 40 mm. The three-stage system works at speeds up to 80 km/h (50 mph), and has a kill switch that brings the car back to its original height.
When driven at speeds over 80 km/h, the Hofele Rivage GT 970’s lowering unit switches the ride back to its serial height to give the suspension its full comfort and stability.
All plastic parts are made of the highest-quality & heat resistant „HPG" material which received the grade "sehr gut" (A) by the German TUEV authorities and are being mounted to the original points of attachment on the Panamera. All parts are reversible.

Other performance upgrade is the use of high-performance sport brake kit that consists of 6-piston brake calliper and perforated, inner-ventilated brake discs.

How Not to Customize Redux: 1996 Ford Taurus “Space Ship”

Do you want a car that, "look deferent and feel deferent [sic]"? If so, this Australian tuner - whose skill at vehicle modification is in line with his comprehension of the English language - has the car for you...

The third generation Ford Taurus was not a very pretty car to begin with. Its ovoid shape, which extended to the taillights, rear window and even the dashboard was not especially attractive and made the car look like it was slowly melting.

This enterprising owner has attempted to fix that by adding an ill-fitting body kit, hood and roof scoops and a generous amount of black and gold paint (which makes the car look like a tin of Lyle's Golden Syrup). The result is...well, you can see for yourself.

Underneath that hideous façade the Taurus appears pretty stock with a 3.0 L V6, automatic transmission and 164,321 km (102,104 miles) on the clock. It looks like it even has the stock wheels and tires.

For the enterprising buyer in Blacktown, NSW, this...thing could be yours for a little over AU$1,500 - or at least that's the highest bid currently on eBay.

2010 GeigerCars Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 Sports Car

GeigerCars, the Ford tuning specialist from Munich named after Karl Geiger, has finished a customization for the Mustang Shelby GT500. Alongside the Mustang V6 and V8 Mustang GT, the wild Mustang Shelby GT500 is equipped ex factory with 540 PS, an aggressive body and traditional double stripe paintwork.

GeigerCars has given a significant power increase to the Mustang Shelby GT500.  The car's output was pumped up from 540 PS (397 kW / 533 bhp) to an impressive 810 PS (596 kW / 799 bhp). Top speed on the car is now 354 km/h (220 mph).
Torque on the 5.4-liter V8 engine was increased up to 945 Nm (697 lb-ft).  The power improvements are in part due to a 3.3-liter compressor which puts out 1.6 bar pressure.  Other performance enhancers include better air flow, new cylinder heads, more coolers, bigger throttle valves, and upgraded fuel injection.
Alongside the Ford Mustang V6 and its V8 brother Mustang GT there is the crowning glory of the series the wild Mustang Shelby GT500, which is equipped ex factory with 540 PS, an aggressive body and traditional double stripe paintwork. Anyone who remembers the American racing legend Carroll Shelby will be able to instantly imagine how uncompromising and purist the Shelby GT500 factory settings already are.
The US car specialist Karl Geiger from Munich has now got its hands on this vehicle and take a look at how the upright Cobra has been transformed into an almost untameable monster! The car's transmission was modified to be able to take the extra power, and a three-disc carbon clutch was also used.  Large 380 mm drilled brake discs were added, along with six-piston calipers.
As usual the engineers at GeigerCars.de from Munich operated on the open V8 heart of the American muscle car and in the process left no stone unturned. For more pressure they donated a 3.3 litre compressor to the 5.4 litre aluminium engine block which with its 1.6 bar supercharging pressure provides real fire in the forged crank drive. Larger throttle valves, a modified injection system, a 100 millimetre air flow meter and machined cylinder heads also guarantee that the inner organs are fine tuned. Additional coolers for charge air, coolant and engine oil ensure that the eight cylinder can always work at the perfect temperature range despite massively increased power.
As a result of the massive changes, the Geiger Mustang Shelby GT now generates a 810 PS at 6,700 rpm, the maximum engine torque of 945 Nm at approximately 4,300 rpm pulls on the increased differentials, and the maximum speed is 354 km/h. Of course with so much engine torque the transmission also had to be reinforced and in the same step its 5th and 6th gears were shortened. A 3 disc carbon clutch produces smooth power transmission. A special manifold with racing catalytic converters and customised sport exhaust guarantee that exhaust gases are disposed of properly according to type.
The GeigerCars also provided the Mustang Shelby GT500 with four classic OZ alloy wheels in 8.5 and 10×20 inch with 245/35ZR20 Michelin tires for the front and 10×20 inch with 285/30ZR20 Michelin tires for the rear. In addition, a special racing chassis, Geiger Panhard rod made from chrome-moly steel, and adjustable trailing arms for improved rear axle directional stability are also fitted.
